Final Paintings

My final paintings inspired by the images of my eye in different states of mind.  Each are a1 in size acrylic on board. I wanted to keep the materials constant as the variable in each is the colour and initial mood.

I am pleased with how each have turned out as the impact of three large eyes is quite impactful. They work well together as a whole but individually are open to interpretation.

State of Mind

Over the last few weeks I have been photographing my eye when I have been in different moods to show my changing state of mind. Here I have myself in a positive (happy), negative (angry) and neutral (sleepy) mood. I am going to paint these various eyes large scale using a key colour for each that reflects upon my mood at the time. I am looking forward to seeing this as I feel that 3 large eyes will have a bold initial impact.

The subtle differences in the subject will be exaggerated on a larger scale and though the use of colour.
