After visiting Liverpool, I used my sketches and photographs, to draw selections of what I had seen and what had inspired me from the day. I created a large sketch using inks, found objects and a selection of materials. I also created a colour stripe to reflect the colours within the image.
It rained a lot in Liverpool....
I found myself to be interested in my surroundings even more so than the exhibitions that I was visiting. The shapes, textures and patterns of the shipyard inspired me to sketch and photograph.
Ceiling of Cunard Building. The architecture was fantastic in this building and distracted me from the artwork within.
